My life started with my mother in the Naval Hospital. She was alone at the hospital dealing with preeclampsia. My father was station a couple of hours away. My mother’s mother was across the nation. So my brave young mother was having her first child and she did well, a healthy seven pound baby girl.

My favorite Barbie doll was her friend Stacey. I will continue to search for her at my father’s home when I go visit him. He has several storage buildings filled with stuff.

The television was an invited family member, it made us happy and sad. It made us laugh on Saturday morning and be scared on Saturday night. We loved the reruns of the 1940’s and 1950’s shows.

Thank you Imogene for reading the post about me, since one day I will be someone’s ancestor and it will be easier for the future researcher to learn about me.
